Thanks for dropping by. I’m sorry about the missing blogs, categories, tags, comments, and links. My site crashed in June 2011 and had to go through a painstaking process of revival. We haven’t found the time to bring back all the site features and formatting but going through nearly a thousand blog posts just isn’t that easy. Cheers!

Great write up about Calaguas – it shook us all up and informed in a way – a call to action to prevent it from becoming another “filthy party beach”. Because of that I found your website, will definitely read it a lot.
Hi, thanks Marky! I’ve been on your blog before. Though mine is not a travel blog, as I like to call it a lifestyle blog, because I tend to post a lot about music, mommyhood, and other things I find in the least bit interesting, I follow travel bloggers and their activities closely. Welcome to my world! 🙂
Good evening, angkulet! I’m Ranel from GMA News. I messaged you on Facebook to know more about your experience at Mt. Isarog. Hope you got it. Thank you very much! 🙂
Arts and gigs! perfect site!

Hello Ms. Angku,
A pleasant day to you.
I will be launching s2kd.com by the end of April. Primarily it will be a collection of personal stories of travel in the Philippines. The basic idea is for people to share the excitement of going places while at the same time offer useful information to would-be wanderers.
In connection with this I am requesting your permission to allow me to republish in full (text and images) your blog post at
http://www.angkulet.com/2012/05/22/team-tambaron-in-oriental-mindoro/
As usual, full credits along with a link back to your article will accompany the republished content.
Hoping for your approval.
Sincerely,
Ronald

Hi Angku,
Thanks for all this great info. Me, my partner Chriatina and our little 2-year-old daughter are planning to spend 5 months in the El Nido area this year (Nov-Apr) and would love to find a rustic cottage/bungalow/cabin on or by the beach for the duration of our stay. Somehwere between 20,000-30,000 pesos/month.
It would be a great help if you could suggest anything. As a parent like you, we want a nice place so our daughter can roam free and safe. I’m also a writer/photographer and need to stay connected to work while I’m away (we live in Whistler, BC, Canada) so internet connection is great.
I really, really appreciate your time.
Many thanks,
Todd

Hello Lia,
I just want to say you have a very awesome blog. I found you actually by accident this past hour, but I glad I did. I will be continuing to follow your stories and reading all your content.

Hi, great blog… really interesting to get such a personal perspective on El Nido. I moved here from Negros with my wife about 8 months ago… and things are slowly and surely getting there… maybe you’ve heard of our el nido tourist offers leaflet? A way to help both businesses (with exposure) and tourists (with deals & promos). I plan to return here to have a more in-depth read about your ventures as they sound very interesting!
