The event will feature local bands such as Taken By Cars, Techy Romantics, Out of Body Special, Maude, Sleepwalk Circus and Cara Manglapus and The Executives, all of which who have generously agreed to donate their time and talent in support of the relief effort.

I’m at Route 196 way too often for the mere reason that it’s about a stone’s throw away from our house and the route is simple enough. Aside from that, I happen to like that bar. It’s quiet and it has open-air seating that allow us to talk to each other in peace when the music inside is too loud, or breathe better when the air inside is too stuffy with smoke. I wanted to say “breathe fresh air” but this is Manila, there is no such thing as fresh air, so scratch that.

We’ve been looking forward to this event for quite some time as we knew it was gonna be one great night of celebration of life, friends and music. We had a blast with friends we get to see often and friends we don’t. Nothing like good old friends and wonderful music! (Watch out for videos of performances from Diwa de Leon, Top Junk, The Discoball and of course, Flush and the Toilets, to be posted as soon as they get uploaded on Youtube)
