Sardinia is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, south of the French island of Corsica and to the west of mainland Italy. The water is surprisingly pristine and clear with amazing visibility. The seashores are mostly granite rocks and white sandy beaches especially on the east side. Sardinia is best for diving in the summer months!!
The dive site Secca del Papa (or The Pope’s Drop-off) in the Tavolara Marine Protected Area is probably one of the best dive sites you’ll ever dive in the Mediterranean!

You can dive in Sardinia all year round but going in May, June, or September is perhaps the most pleasant. Going in July or August at the peak of the summer season means more crowds and double the prices of accommodations. If you are diving in Sardinia in July or August, or there are more than just one or two of you, it is recommended that you book your diving by contacting the dive center in advance.
With all those being said, Blu Infinito Diving Center located in Capo Coda Cavallo in the town of San Teodoro, 20 minutes south of the airport of Olbia is now in full swing!
“Scuba diving, snorkelling and PADI courses in the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo. Here the particular richness and the diversity of the underwater environment (walls, canyons, pinnacles, caves, wrecks) guarantee dives of every kind, able to satisfy even the most demanding divers. All “framed” by extraordinarily limpid water. Open from April to October, Blu Infinito is a S.E.A. (Scubapro Educational Association) diving center that means not only high quality standards for the equipment for hire but also that you can try the new products of this brand leader in diving equipment. ”
Fabio Dolino, BLU INFINITO DIVING CENTER
A five-star PADI dive resort that is now on its 11th season, it can be found in the Village of Porto Coda Cavallo fronting Salina Bamba Beach and is one of the few dive centers accredited for diving in the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara.
The dive center has consistently received a Five-Star rating on Trip Advisor since 2015.
Now with 99 reviews on Trip Advisor, it has kept its rating at 5 stars! Now that counts for something! Click here to view the page on Trip Advisor.
Although it now holds a 4.2 rating on Google Reviews with 15 reviews due to an unfortunate misunderstanding that occurred in the past that a customer just had to make a review about, it is still one of the most recommended diving centers in San Teodoro because of its staff, professionalism, and equipment.
“Blu Infinito Diving Center since opening in 2006, has one goal: the pursuit of EXCELLENCE, in the relationship with the customer, in the quality and safety of equipment and procedures, the personalization of services.” – Dive Compare
