I and my friends went to sleep at four in the morning, promising each other to meet up at eleven thirty-two for brunch at Midway Grill in San Fernando, but I woke up at eleven thirty two and decided not to go. I got up, put on my gigantic bee-eyes sunglasses, had coffee, headed over to the Valdezes’ tent and went to surf instead. That’s where I was when they got back, with my lunch of baby back ribs from Midway Grill.
I’m just writing this down because actually, I’ve forgotten what I did all day on this day, and I was wondering why I have no pictures until the concert. 😛
Actually, I arrived right in the middle of Milagros Dancehall Collective’s set but I was hungry and was collecting myself, thus, no pictures. I was just standing there, staring, hungry and wide-eyed. 😛
So I started taking photos when Taken by Cars went onstage.
Sarah Marco – Vocals
Bryce Zialcita – Guitars
Isa Garcia – Bass/Synths/Vocals
Siopao Chua – Guitars/Synths/Vocals
Bryan Kong – Drums/Synths/Sampler
And these are my friends and the Travel Factor team!
And then it was Sinosikat?‘s set:
RELI DE VERA-drums
KAREL HONASAN- bass
KAKOY LEGASPI – guitars
ROMMEL DE LA CRUZ-bass
PHILIPPE ARIOLA – bass
And after Sinosikat? was Likkle Mai.
The last band to go onstage was Tropical Depression – and we’ve been waiting for and looking forward to the band all night!
There were more people on this night than the night before, probably because All Saint’s Day was over and it was also a Friday night.
And more photos of my friends!
Ok, so I’ll tell the real reason why I didn’t take any photos during Likkle Mai‘s set, just in case you’re wondering. We were soooo busy having sooooo much fun! We were dancing and laughing. My stomach was hurting from so much laughter! My friends are crazy!!! Crazy fun!!
That’s a video from Ayie’s camera. He’s got LOTS of videos! Uh btw, no, I wasn’t drunk. That’s really just my normal self. None of my friends were drunk either. That’s just how we are on a daily basis. 😛

I use a Nikon D90 with a 50mm lens defaulted to auto ISO and f/1.8
For the wide angle shots, a 18-135mm lens is used defaulted to f/3.5 (because the blades are missing) and set to 1/80, and sometimes I put on a .5x Vitacon wide angle converter for that funky vignette, as well as the barrel distortion and graininess. Wink.
