There are a lot of places to stay in Malapascua, but here are a few of the places I happened to have taken photos of. For a complete listing of all lodging available in the island, here is a very helpful site.
1. Logon Beach Resort
I had wanted to stay at this resort but when I sent an inquiry via email, I was told they were fully booked. I did not find that surprising though since they only have a few cottages (4 or 5?). Located on a high rocky point at the end of Logon Beach, next to Tepanee and Angelina Beach, this place is very quiet and secluded.
Balconied huts face the sunset and have wonderful views. Though none of them are air-conditioned.
The cottage’s balconies face the sea and the doors face the yard, making the entrances look like back doors.
Logon Beach Resort overlooks a private cove, making it an ideal honeymooners’ resort.
I took photos of the resort when I was going around the entire island of Malapascua in a boat. Our route was from Logon Beach and around.. so passing by Blue Corals Resort… and the cemetery…
…and around the rocky point.
I like this resort. I would have loved staying here too. I’d like to think I’ll stay here the next time I come visit Malapascua, but maybe if I don’t have the baby with me. My daughter prefers sleeping in airconditioned rooms. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay. Just make sure to book early as the cottages get booked fast. Click here to visit their website.

2. TEPANEE BEACH RESORT
Right next to Logon Beach Resort and Angelina Beach Italian Restaurant is this quiet pretty little resort, which I just sort of wandered into on my way back down the hill from Logon Beach Resort.
A small resort composed by 4 independent cottages with double bed and one cottage of 6 rooms with a double bed and a single bed each, all leaning in front of the sea, built up with local materials like bamboo and stone, with roofs made by a particular kind of fine straw named Kogon, and equipped with all comfort: 24h electricity, hot water, fridge, safety box and spacious private veranda. 3. WHITE SANDS BUNGALOWS
This is where I stayed when I went there February this year. Right on Logon Beach, in between La Dolce Vita/Kokay’s Maldito and Angelina Beach/Tepanee/Logon Beach Resort. It has native cottages, also without air conditioning. The cottages have a queen-sized bed and a loft/attic with more mattresses – making each cottage able to accommodate up to 5 people. It also has its own little balcony, which is great for hanging out.
White Sands was one of the resorts affected by the zoning but I believe it is operational now. Click here to view their website.
Bungalow rate is 700 – 1200 depending on season. Room rate is 500 – 1000 depending on season.

2. BB’S LODGING HOUSE
Another one of those resorts I stumbled upon while trying to find my way around the island using all those walking tracks. This looks like another good place to stay in, simple, quiet and with a big yard, except that it does not have a view of the beach.
