Our flight bound for HK via Cebu Pacific was scheduled at 5:40 AM. We left the house for the NAIA Terminal 3 at 3:30 AM and made it just fine. Didn’t have to wait too long for boarding.

We stayed at the farthest end of the waiting area and had the space to ourselves.

Early flights are great, except for the part where the cab drivers rip you off, saying they would not be able to get a passenger back. You’d think you’d be able to save on fare since there would be no traffic, but no. Ahh, sad. Do not ever agree to give more than P300 – because that is more than enough. That’s coming from us who live in Cainta.

We arrived on time at the Hong Kong International Airport, 2 hrs later, but immigration line was really slow. Lia and Tutu were quite impatient at the line, but the others in line with us found them both funny.

Lia had seen how some people slept on top of their luggages, and well, wanted to emulate.

I was actually resting by this time and we were eating breakfast. I have to say they make really good bread in HK..

We were on our way in a bit. Found the bus stop for the bus going to Tung Chung – code S1.

Lia was sleepy by then, and so was I, but she’s not really the kid who likes to complain. I love that about her. Lia, my travel buddy.
