Boats Galore at Bikal, Caramoan, Camarines Sur

2 hours from Sabang in the town of San Jose and 30 minutes from the port in the town of Caramoan and one will find oneself in the small baranggay of Bikal – the gateway to the Caramoan Peninsula. Anyone who wants to explore the white sand beaches of the many islands of Caramoan will have to get on the boat from here.
We did two days of island hopping when we were there. The first one was just for half a day while the second lasted the entire whole day. Bikal is just a small baranggay, there is nothing much to expect out of it.
Other than being a jump off point, there is nothing else to it.
There are a couple of little stores where one can buy some supplies like bottled water, soft drinks, chips, cookies and bread. They are typical little sari-sari stores.
The homes are very quaint…
… and in one of the houses, I saw this tarpaulin and it reminded me of my trip to the town of Garchitorena the year before…
