Virgin Labfest 6 Photos: Balunbalunan, Bingibingihan (Set A)

For the photo documentation for the Virgin Labfest 6, I made it a point to get there early so I could pick a good seat. I watched each show or set twice so I would know where to sit to get the best angles or shots. For this particular show on July 2nd, I had asked the usher if I could sit in the center front row; but I was told the center front rows were reserved so I had to content myself with sitting on the front row of stage right.
I was able to take good photos of the previous play of the same set, Isagani, because the usher told me the guests for whom the front row seats have been reserved had not arrived yet. I was allowed to sit on the center front row. Come Balunbalunan, Bingibingihan, I was asked to return to my seat.
That was just my luck, because I was seated right in front of the big prop window, with all my views to the actors on the center of the stage blocked. It was really frustrating.
Here are the photos I managed to take nevertheless.
All of them are really too dark, I like to think these photos are studies on chiaroscuro.

(I had personally liked this part about writing on the floor so I took a photo of it.)
Gilbey’s and Brandy, 20 yrs apart, are husband and wife, pimp and whore, who love each other dearly.
(This is just to show how bad my seat was.)
