Furniture Love – Togo Sofa by Ligne Roset

We are buying a house and hopefully moving out of this rented apartment and into the repainted house within the next month or so. Because of that, we have been looking at home magazines again for ideas on color schemes and furniture.

In page 72 of the March 2010 issue of Real Living magazine published by Summit Media, there is this hot neon pink sofa I have fallen in love with.

The Togo Sofa by Ligne Roset

Togo Sofa is another classic example of a timeless modern design that has been enjoying over 25 years of fame. Michel Ducaroy, the designer, found his way into the world of design very early on with the Togo seating collection. The sofa does look very inviting and comfortable. Would be ideal for a casual style house or a vacation home. Ligne Roset has a wide selection of fabrics and colors, and it can be constructed in multiple foam densities. Price varies based on fabric and color and ranges around $2000.

The Togo collection is becoming even more popular now as the entire world moves toward modern. Modern home architecture demands modern furniture and Togo fits right in. Lately, we get lots of questions about it, people want to know who makes it. Now you know – it’s by Ligne Roset.

An ultimate in comfort and style, the Togo sofa is your choice if you want to make a very modern statement… While modern is a given, Togo’s most distinct feature is that it’s both visually attractive and physically inviting. All made up of foam constructions and quilted covers, the collection includes sofas with and without arms, chairs, love seats, corner seats and ottomans, and even smaller, kids versions of the same. Just arrange it to fill the room.

I wonder how we will be able to afford this.. especially since there is this supposed to be a cheaper alternative here and it still costs $1,695!
